If you would like to be part of an industry leading MEP engineering consulting firm, complete an application and submit a cover letter and resume in confidence.About the RoleGHT is seeking a bright and motivated electrical design engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET-accredited college or university, with approximately 1-4 years experience in electrical design. Equivalent combinations of education/experience will be accepted; will consider recent graduates with working knowledge of CAD/REVIT.Candidate must possess the following skills, traits, and credentials:
- Demonstrated proficiency and experience in electrical design for commercial interior projects, including lighting and power circuitry and controls and fire alarm design;
- Working knowledge of building, energy, and green codes;
- Able to work both independently and in a team setting
- Capable of organizing workflow and delegating tasks to others as appropriate.
- Commitment to client satisfaction and responsiveness.
- Motivated to excel and willing to learn;
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD (recent releases) is also a must. (Revit is preferred).
- Able to travel to job sites and conduct site visits, including carrying equipment/materials; climbing, sitting, standing, walking, balancing.
- PREFERRED:
- Familiarity with commercial interiors design for office and similar space.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship. GHT participates in E-Verify.
- Must successfully complete pre-employment background check and drug test. Certain projects may have additional requirements.
