Job descriptionOverview:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Freelance- Youth & Adult Mentor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and or Adults empowering them to reach their full potential.Duties:– Provide guidance and support to youth in various areas such as education, behavior management, and social skills.
– Develop and implement individualized plans to help each child achieve their goals.
– Foster positive relationships with youth and serve as a positive role model.
– Assist in resolving conflicts and promoting healthy communication among youth.
– Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure the holistic well-being of the youth.Qualifications:– Experience working with children or adolescents in educational or childcare settings.
– Knowledge of special education, child welfare, social work, or behavioral health principles.
– Strong mentoring and conflict management skills.
– Ability to educate and empower youth to make positive choices.

Ability to Commute:Compensation: $17.93 – $18.50 per hourAbout UsChildren’s Advocate provides the following services: Behavioral Health, Autism, Intellectual disabilities, including wrap-around services ( counseling, ABA, CBT, DBT,), Depression, & Anxiety).At Children’s Advocate, we utilize the evidence-based practices of ABA, CBT, DBT, play therapy, art therapy, sports therapy, exercise therapy and several others: These scientifically proven treatments have the most effective results to achieve success in the areas of needs including: Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, Preventative diagnosis, Behavioral & Mental Health Concerns.

Expected salary: $17.93 – 18.5 per hour
