The pharmacist has the responsibility to lead the integrated provision of accurate, safe, efficient and cost-effective pharmacy services through collaboration with peer pharmacists and other members of the health care team. The lead pharmacist oversees an area or specialty within the pharmacy department such as central unit dose, IV room, satellite pharmacy, etc. The lead role is considered a lead role and will be an opportunity to further develop that lead pharmacist leadership skills in preparation for a future pharmacy leadership role.Required Qualifications:
- PharmD: Pharmacy or bachelor’s degree: BS in Pharmacy.
- Oregon Pharmacist License upon hire.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant practice setting experience or PGY1 with a minimum 2 year relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Training in Process Improvement methods such as Six Sigma, LEAN Methodology, and CAP tools.
- 1 year Leadership experience.
