Job description: Phase 1: Documentation Review
- Review piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
- Translate engineering drawings into a comprehensive data catalog.
Phase 2: Documentation Compliance
- Ensure all documentation and equipment meet project and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare for the User Requirement Specification (URS) phase.
Phase 3: Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
- Review test plans for commissioning activities.
- Ensure all systems are ready for FAT.
Phase 4: Testing Participation
- Actively participate in FAT, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and other testing activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of Mid-Level to Senior Level experience in commissioning and/or project engineering, specifically within a pharmaceutical setting.
- Proven track record of managing large capital expansion projects from inception to completion.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with Data Integrity principles, ALCOA guidelines, and the importance of documentation in GMP environments.
- General engineering background; chemical engineering experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with bioreactors and start-up activities.
- Automation experience with Delta V or Rockwell systems is preferred.
