Job description: Salary: $ 65,000.00We have partnered with a Retail company in the Knoxville, TN area to provide them with an Architectural Textile Designer. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Textile Designer:#1. Must have at least 5yrs relevant work experience in print & pattern (preferably leather goods or accessories)#2. Must have Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign#3. Must have experience in trend forecasting#4. No more than 3 jobs in the last 10yrs.Requirements of the Textile Designer:
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in print and pattern design, ideally within the leather goods or accessories sectors.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional illustration and painting abilities.
- Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills for building productive working relationships.
- Keen eye for color selection and palette creation.
- Experience in forecasting trends within the industry.
- Ability to merge creativity with technical precision.
- Comprehensive understanding of the design and development lifecycle, from concept to final product.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a penchant for seeking out information.
- Strong ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proven experience in coordinating and communicating with manufacturing partners.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with the leather goods or accessories industry is a plus.
Other Key Requirements:
- Onsite role
- No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
