We are seeking a detail-oriented Drafter specializing in Electrical Design to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed electrical drawings and schematics that will support our projects in industrial control systems and automation.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and produce detailed electrical design drawings using AutoCAD Electrical and Eplan.
- Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical drawings.
- Create schematics for industrial control systems, SCADA, and layered network designs.
- Utilize virtualized computers and field controllers to enhance design accuracy.
- Maintain and update project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in project management tasks by tracking progress and identifying risks in design phases.
- Implement process control and automation solutions in design specifications.
Qualifications
- Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical and Eplan software.
- Experience with industrial control systems, SCADA, and field controllers.
- Knowledge of layered networks and data server configurations.
- Familiarity with project management and risk management principles.
- Industry experience of 5+ years. Automation or Controls drafting, and design experience preferred.
- Ability to apply engineering practices in design work.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
