The Autonomous Vehicles team is searching for an experienced test technician / engineer to support our new autonomous driving features development. We are the leading artificial intelligence computing company and are paving the way with innovations in gaming, visualization, supercomputing, and self-driving cars. As a key member of our Autonomous Vehicles team, you will be supporting the software testing of our autonomous driving software stack. NVIDIA gives automakers, Tier 1 suppliers, automotive research institutions, and start-ups the power and flexibility to develop and deploy breakthrough artificial intelligence systems for self-driving vehicles. Today, we are working with over 270 partners that are using our platform in the development of autonomous cars, trucks, shuttles, and taxis. What you’ll be doing: · Support testing and quality assessment of AV and ADAS features. · Develop and document test procedures · Perform in-car testing and record test results · Work with operation team to arrange logistics for testing · Report product issues in a timely and structured manner using issue management system (JIRA) · Work closely with product team to keep a pulse on overall product health What we need to see: · Experience with testing and validating automotive systems or similar robotic applications · Proven track record of creating test plans, executing test cases to collect product health metric and reporting it back with detailed documentation · Excellent communication skills · Self driven and on the go problem solving skills · Valid driver’s license · On-site availability · Tech savvy and able to learn tools fast Team/Culture Fit Profile: · Partner closely with project managers and program managers · Run daily activities for testing operations · Run tests on each vehicle, and provide detailed data and reports · Identify software that needs to be tested and communicate findings with team and necessary departments · 1-2 years of experience working with software systems (w/ bachelor’s degree) · Open to candidates without a bachelor’s degree that have prior experience running vehicles on tests, will need 3-5+ years of experience Software/Proficiencies: · Command Line · C++ · Python · ADAS
