Entrust Solutions Group has embraced growing markets such as renewables, power engineering services, EV infrastructure, data analytics, and geospatial with cutting edge engineering, consulting, and automation services.We have a current need for an Electrical Sr. Design Engineer in Fayetteville or Wilmington, NC.What You’ll Do:
- The objective of this role is to be a subject matter expert of distribution design and constructability for the Fayetteville / Wilmington area.
- You will be responsible for design review and ensuring we deliver a design package that meets client expectations.
- You will often meet with the client and construction crews to review the scope of our design and discuss project execution.
- You will be a technical leader on the team contributing to the continual improvement of team knowledge.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from ABET accredited university.
- 3+ years of electrical distribution design experience in utilities.
- Previous experience reviewing designs, providing direct client support, and working on voltage drop calculations.
- Experience leading and/or mentoring a team.
- Must have a valid driver’s license without restrictions; This position involves up to 25% travel within the region which includes driving to project sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Computer Aided Design is a plus.
- PDF editing software such as Bluebeam a plus.
- Drafting software such as BOUD.
- Knowledge of pole loading software (Poleforeman/OCALC/Spidacalc).
