Job SummaryThe Police Officer Recruit is a transitional role that is expected to attend and successfully complete Police Academy as well as pass the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) exam in preparation to qualify for commissioning as a peace officer for the Tarrant County College District (TCCD). This position is responsible for successfully meeting the academic, psychological, and physical training requirements of the Police Academy, with the objective of transitioning into a Police Officer role once all requirements are met, typically within one year of hire.
