As the Electrical Design Engineer, you will work closely with other senior engineers to receive technical guidance on typical engineering assignments within the Electric Programs team.What You’ll Do:
- Work with Designers and Drafters to complete design packages for the electric utilities team.
- Gain an understanding of CAD programs and the software analysis tools utilized in engineering design.
- Support the preparation of simple designs or small portions of larger projects, including calculations and drawings.
- Apply appropriate industry codes, standards, and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from ABET accredited university.
- Must have a valid driver’s license without restrictions. This position involves up to 20% travel within the area which includes driving to project sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Computer Aided Design or GIS Design is a plus.
- Strong work ethic with desire to work in a production environment.

- Benefits & Salary: This position pays between $71,000 and $73,000 annually and is an exempt position.
- Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.
