Job description: Description :Duties and Responsibilities:Serve under the direction of Marketing Coordinator and Graphic Designer/Photographer.
- Prepares layout and copy for marketing flyers, brochures, newsletters, email newsletters, advertising and other media that is effective, culturally appropriate and tasteful.
- In conjunction with the Marketing team, responsible for the development and approval of printed and digital marketing material in a timely and efficient manner.
- Occasional website maintenance to keep information up-to-date and relevant to current seasonal needs.
- Minimal editing of video provided by the Marketing Team for promotion and impact of Kroc programs and events to be shared on social channels and Kroc website.
- Responsible for day-to-day fast design and print materials including temporary signage, printing and trimming banners and posters, announcements and more.
- Help maintain RJKCCC brand standards and graphics library.
General Qualifications and Proficiencies: * Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in marketing, graphic design, and 2+ years of experience working in the field of marketing, advertising, communication, journalism, publishing or public relations.
- Experience with creation, design and layout of marketing and communication collateral.
- Experience working with marketing-related vendors, graphic designers, photographers, and printers.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail, consistent reliable follow through and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects, and meet established deadlines.
- Demonstrates good judgment, resourcefulness, flexibility, attention to detail, and problem solving.
- Possesses sensitivity and awareness of diverse cultural perspectives and the ability to work with diverse populations.
- Service-oriented team player who can take initiative, work independently and quickly adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop,, Acrobat, etc)
- Ability to work well with other employees, customers, and donors while maintaining the standards of the Salvation Army.
- Be able to work with all ethnic and socio-economic populations.
- Ability to stand, stoop, or walk for a minimum of eight hours per day and lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
