Job description: Junior UX DesignerGreat long-term opportunity with an industry leader that is seeing their business accelerate!RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, product, technology, marketing, comms, etc., to help achieve business goals.
- Think beyond the desktop to employ Mobile First and Responsive Design methodologies to deliver experiences for smartphone, tablet and desktop devices.
- Understand and articulate the information architecture, workflows, and processes surrounding the user experience.
- Create UX artifacts including wireframes, user journeys, workflows, interactive prototypes, etc., based on a thorough understanding of service functionality and design guidelines.
- Lead design reviews with stakeholders and thoughtfully incorporate team feedback.
- Communicate user interface design implementation to technology teams in the form of detailed specifications and design documents.
- Mentor and onboard other UX team members.
- Stay abreast of new techniques and work efficiencies for UX best practices
This is a 6-month contract opportunity in Atlanta. Work in-office on a flexible, hybrid schedule of 2-3 days per week.REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 1+ years of UX experience using UX design best practices
- Figma expertise (link to Figna prototype is a must)
- Experience working on enterprise-level application
- Concept sketching, user flows, layout design, style guides, design system, wireframes, visual design, web/mobile/tablet design, responsive design, prototyping, accessible design, etc)
- Solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), rapid prototyping, design patterns and design systems, usability and accessibility concerns
- Deep understanding of website and application development cycle processes with Agile Methodology
- Knowledge of cross-platform cross-browser compatibility and internationalization issues
- Expertise in UX Design tools such as Figma, Axure, Adobe XD, Adobe CC, In-vision, Sketch, etc.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office product suite. (MS Office and 365, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS/jQuery
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
