Job description: Job Requisition ID #24WD82435Position OverviewThe Senior Business architecture manager will reimagine business insights, forecasting, planning, and business performance management processes within our Go-to-Market Finance organization to focus on the most important insights, simplify workflows, and take advantage of the latest technologies.This role will deliver high-quality data products to enable these reimagined processes, both by building data tools directly and by influencing data engineering teams to build the right infrastructure. This role owns the business logic and key metrics for key Autodesk finance data and influences upstream policies and processes that impact finance data and management reporting. In addition, understanding the business models and trends is key to informing our overall strategy and enabling us to drive the business at scale.This role will also likely support other GTM finance teams and topics. We are a small team working to transform how finance data is used across Autodesk, so are essential. We must coordinate our efforts both within our team and across the teams that support us, take on different projects as business needs change, and constantly manage scope vs. time tradeoffs to ensure we are delivering the most impactful results.ResponsibilitiesServe as the subject matter expert for COO Finance upstream systems, policies, and processesPartner with GTM finance teams to understand their planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance management needsReimagine processes, data structures, and dashboards for simplicity, agility, and adaptability to keep up with GTM innovationOwn the delivery of end-to-end data products (pipelines, tables, and dashboards) to enable reporting and analytics that are automated, flexible, scalable, and action orientedBuild and test prototype data products yourself while partnering with corporate data engineering teams to build long-term solutionsIdentify actionable insights that can target and improve Autodesk’s go-to-market efforts and inform the development of new products, key metrics, and business modelsIntegrate your efforts into company-wide forecasting and planning processes and into the broader Business Architecture-led buildout of GTM Finance dataAdapting state-of-the-art analytical and predictive tools for use in our forecasting and planning processes (once the appropriate data foundations have been built)Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative fieldMinimum of 8 years’ experience in analytical fields such as consulting, strategic finance, BizOps, data science, business intelligence, data engineering, and/or IB/VC/PEExperience with SQL and large datasetsExperience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.Experience with product management frameworks and process designStrong abilities in project management, change management, and cross-functional influenceA good listener and communicator with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with scripting languages such as Python or JavascriptExperience building and deploying predictive models to forecast key metricsExperience designing an optimal decision support process, defining a product strategy to enable it, translating into a roadmap, and enabling it through technologyDomain experience in FP&A and / or sales, marketing, and customer success operationsAt Autodesk, we’re building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
