Job description: smartdept. is searching for a Visual Graphic Designer for a design services client. The ideal candidate will come with 3+ years of experience. This is a part-time (15-25 hrs/week) project-based , fully remote contract opportunity with the possibility of being full-time. Compensation for this position is expected to be $25-30/hour depending on experience level and fit.What You’ll Do:
- Establishing creative direction for the company within brand guidelines, and translating strategic direction into high-quality design
- Working with a variety of teams and clients to develop new approaches and create compelling designs
- Creating visual concepts by hand or with software, and developing the layout and production of artwork for a range of materials, such as decks/briefs, logos, web pages, packaging, products, presentations, signage, and marketing materials
- Creating the visual brand identity for a company or organization
- Ensuring projects are completed on time and to a high standard
- Strong design skills including graphic design
What You’ll Need:
- Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in design and/or certificate in graphic design required.
- 3+ years experience required.
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Basic understanding of Google Slides and Canva is a plus
Expected salary: $25 – 30 per hour
