Job description: Beltservice Corporation has an immediate opening for an industrial Electrical Technician who will provide maintenance and repair for all facilities and equipment. This position is on 1st shift (Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.). Responsibilities & Duties Equipment and Facility Maintenance with a primary focus on electrical and controls. Production equipment troubleshooting and repairs. New capital equipment installation projects. Work in a team setting and independently. Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent; Industrial maintenance or technical coursework preferred; recent graduates encouraged to apply! Professional certifications are a plus. Industrial Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Must possess hands-on experience in Facilities and Equipment maintenance in a manufacturing environment. Must possess a working knowledge of Electrical and Industrial Electrical standards. Experienced working with and troubleshooting standard AC & DC voltages including 24V, 120V, 220V, 480V etc. Capable of reading schematics, ladder-logic, blueprints and diagrams for various electro-mechanical projects. Familiar with electrical codes and standards. Able to run conduit and have knowledge on what gauge wire is used depending on the amperage. Knowledge of industrial HVAC systems for service, troubleshooting, and repairs; associated license is beneficial. Proficient with the tools of the trade including core hand tools, power tools, multimeters, etc. Excellent Troubleshooting skills. Must excel at time management. Demonstrate initiative and proactivity Diverse skillsets lend themselves well to this job. Things such as welding, plumbing, construction, automotive repair, home improvement, computers, etc. Must be confident or willing to learn devices like iPad and able to navigate apps Experience with CMMS is a plus. Overtime may be required at times.
