Job description: Job Title: Civil DesignerJob DescriptionActalent’s client is looking to hire two civil designers who can assist with various land development projects in the jurisdictions of Howard, Prince George’s, and Montgomery Counties in Maryland. They will be responsible for using AutoCAD to assist with the production of engineering designs, including but not limited to stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, site grading, preliminary design, water and sewer plans. This is an office position that is deadline-oriented, and we need individuals who are excellent with the software and have related design experience. The projects they will work on include commercial, residential (both subdivisions and mixed-use), and industrial (flex warehouse space).Hard Skills
- At least 2 years designing with AutoCAD & Civil 3D
- Experience with land development projects
- Exposure to project management or interest in moving into project management
Soft Skills
- Deadline-oriented
- Excellent software proficiency
- Willingness to learn and adapt
