Duration: 14+ MonthsRole Type: W2 contract engagement*Beware of scams. S3 never asks for money during its onboarding processKey Responsibilities: * Administer Network and System Access:
- Control access to computer networks, systems, and files, ensuring that digital information and infrastructure assets are protected from unauthorized access, misuse, or alteration.
- Identity Lifecycle Management:
- Manage the identity lifecycle by provisioning new hires with the appropriate access rights needed for their job roles.
- Deprovision or modify access for users who change positions or leave the company to maintain security integrity.
- Cybersecurity Control Activities:
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity control activities in compliance with regulatory requirements to ensure the security of data and systems.
- Incident and Request Response:
- Handle internal security access incidents and requests, providing prompt resolutions to maintain operational continuity.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation regarding user access to computing resources to meet compliance standards and enable secure operations.
- Process Improvement and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other teams to continually improve access security processes, increasing efficiency, employee engagement, and overall productivity.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Access Control & Identity Management: Strong knowledge of access provisioning, deprovisioning, and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Cybersecurity Regulations: Familiarity with cybersecurity controls, industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), and regulatory requirements.
- Incident Management: Ability to respond quickly and effectively to access-related incidents and requests.
- Documentation: Meticulous attention to detail in maintaining records and documentation for compliance and security.
- Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams to improve processes.
- Process Efficiency: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance security processes that improve productivity without compromising security.
