Job description: Job Description:JOB DESCRIPTION:Directly supervise and coordinate work activities of cleaning personnel in order to ensure the smooth running of premises to agreed standards and service levels.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Supervise a team of Cleaners ensuring they know their duties and carry out their work in accordance with Company procedures and practices and health & safety regulations to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained.
- Inspect work performed to ensure that it meets specifications and established standards.
- Investigate complaints about service and equipment, and take corrective action.
- Recommend changes that could improve service and increase operational efficiency.
- Perform or assist with cleaning duties as necessary.
- Check equipment to ensure that it is in working order.
- Inventory stock to ensure that supplies and equipment are available in adequate amounts and re-ordering when needed, ensuring other cleaners have the supplies they need, to meet the establishments needs.
- Instruct staff in work policies and procedures, and the use and maintenance of equipment.
- May perform other duties as assigned
SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Minimum 2 years supervisory / management experience, preferably in commercial real estate
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to communicate well both verbally and through writing when directing tasks
- Ability to work well with a variety of different individuals both inside and outside of NGKF
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and make decisions
Salary: $70,000 – $75,000 annuallyThe expected base salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $75,000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held.
