Job description: Description :With the Associate CAD Designer, we will grow engineering talent, with those that are passionate for aviation, into world-class engineering team members, through hands-on exposure to rotorcraft electrical and mechanical CAD design activities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support engineering staff by working alongside a team of Engineers and CAD Designers to produce detailed design drawings that meet project and drawing standard requirements using SolidWorks, E3 and PDM CAD tools.
- Assist in mock-up efforts associated with new design development.
- Research material and part specifications.
- Coordinate design issues with senior engineering staff.
- Contribute to project milestones on multiple projects.
- Conduct oneself in accordance with Company’s Core Values.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- AS in CAD Drafting or equivalent Basic CAD proficiency certificate.
- Aware of CAD design and aerospace engineering roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft applications.
- Maintain a good working relationship with all team members, stakeholders and customers.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team-oriented environment.
