Job description: Job Title: Electrical EngineerLooking for an ELECTRICAL ENGINEER who will be able to Research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, and systems by performing the following duties:MUST HAVES:
- 3+ Years working as an Electrical Engineer in an Aerospace company
- Experience working with MIL-STD and DO-160.
Requirements
- Designs electrical equipment, components, products, and systems for aerospace and defense purposes per customer requirements in accordance with Military Standards and DO-160.
- Prepares schematics, bills of materials, printed circuit boards, wiring harnesses, and assembly drawings to support the design’s qualification and production build.
- Coordinates with other engineering disciplines and departments to ensure overall system form, fit, function, and safety requirements are achieved.
- Design and direct engineering personnel in the fabrication of test control apparatus and qualification/production test support equipment. Determines methods, procedures, and conditions for testing products in accordance with system requirements.
- Directs activities to ensure that manufacturing procedures, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements.
- Directs and coordinates repair assistance of production and field returns.
- Coordinates with quality assurance to support production test procedures.
- Coordinate with purchasing and manufacturing to support obsolescence issues and verification/validation of new sources.
- Coordinates and prepares engineering change notice (ECN) per configuration management standards.
- Directs and coordinates operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems in field installations.
- Uses computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.Mathematical SkillsAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.Reasoning AbilityAbility to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
