Our client, a leading consumer goods company, is seeking an experienced and talented Brand Packaging Designer to join our marketing team. As a Brand Packaging Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of our products and driving brand recognition in the market.
Responsibilities:
- Create innovative and visually compelling packaging designs for our product range that align with our brand guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and manufacturing to ensure packaging designs meet functional requirements
- Develop concepts, sketches, and prototypes for new packaging ideas
- Select appropriate materials, colors, typography, and graphics to enhance the overall aesthetic appeal of the packaging
- Ensure all packaging designs comply with relevant industry regulations and standards
- Maintain knowledge of current design trends in the consumer goods industry to stay ahead of competitors
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by providing creative input on existing packaging designs
- Collaborate closely with external vendors and suppliers for production coordination and quality control
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
Proven experience as a Brand Packaging Designer or similar role
Demonstrated portfolio showcasing successful packaging design projects
Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
Solid understanding of branding principles and the ability to translate brand guidelines into effective packaging designs
Strong knowledge of typography, color theory, and composition principles >
Familiarity with printing processes and techniques for packaging production >
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality or deadlines
