You have at least five years of experience in engineering design and commissioning of power and renewables projects, including high voltage infrastructure, and a deep understanding of electrical codes and regulations, including NEC, NESC, IEEE, and NETA testing standards. You have a talent for articulating complex technical issues in layman’s terms and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders to develop the best possible solution. - Assisting with all aspects of the technical (and commercial) analysis of project development and financing of client’s grid technology systems
- Working cross-functionally with developers, contractors, investors, lenders, governmental agencies, and other stakeholders
- Applying knowledge of engineering design principles, layout optimization, and equipment procurement and commissioning to deliver high-quality consulting services in support of the project
- Supporting internal and external clients as a subject matter expert on various power and energy projects (mostly renewables and energy storage) and grid technologies
QualificationsBring with you:
- BS/MS in engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of technical consulting experience in power and energy project development. Extra points for an EE!
- Advanced knowledge of NEC standards
- Demonstrated experience in project development, including design, construction, and operations
- Strong communications skills and the ability to distill technical issues and their impact on business decisions into non-technical language. Your technical writing is top-notch!
- Adept at managing multiple projects and schedules simultaneously
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and pride of ownership
