Job description: Moore’s is seeking a qualified individual for a Commercial Electrical Project Manager for out Altavista office. Be a part of a growing team with an amazing culture, reputation, and benefits!This position will be responsible for managing our commercial customer’s construction projects and qualified candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining a great reputation with our internal and external customers.Responsibilities:
- Manage and be responsible for project team’s work including the field Foreman. This includes productivity of field forces and enforcement of work rules.
- Creation, monitoring, and updating of project schedule
- Creation, monitoring, and updating of cost breakdown
- Price, negotiate and process change orders. Maintain change order log.
- Coordinate with Tools & Equipment to ensure jobs have adequate tools and equipment
- Manage all subcontractors
- Ensure job site is being kept safe
- Estimation of projects
- Perform other duties when asked
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage time and resources
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Team mentality
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft products
- Microsoft Dynamics and Bluebeam experience preferred
- Strong commercial electrical trade knowledge
- Ability to climb and work in tight areas
