WHAT YOU WILL DOIn this role you will leverage your industry expertise and leadership abilities to:
- Strategic Vision: Identify and implement change initiatives and collaborate with executives and cross-functional teams to drive them.
- Team Leadership & Development: Cultivate a high-performance culture in a team of scientists and formulators through effective performance management, success mapping, and ongoing feedback.
- Technical Excellence: Enhance the technical capabilities of the team, ensuring high-quality formulations and minimizing quality/production issues.
- Organizational Optimization: Streamline and integrate formulation and product development team processes, communications, and collaboration.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Industry Expertise: 10+ years of formulation and product development experience in the dietary supplements industry, including successful team and project management.
- Industry Standards: A commitment to championing industry best practices (incl. cGMP), and company metrics for the team and the role.
- Technical Proficiency: Proven ability in tablets, capsules, and powders operations, organoleptic product design and screening, formulation adjustments, etc.
- Cost Management: Skills in quoting and cost development for formulas and finished products.
- Customer Focus: Leverage industry expertise to solidify company’s reputation with customers as industry leaders.
Expected salary: $100000 – 130000 per year
