Our client is seeking a Product Designer to join their passionate and growing team! Our ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile app design, along with experience in design systems, componentization, responsive design, accessibility, typography, color patterns, and iconography, demonstrating how these elements impact product function. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Engineers, and other Designers to create engaging and user-friendly designs for both web and mobile applications.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
- Utilize appropriate prototyping tools to demonstrate how specific user flows or interactions will work.
- Run qualitative and quantitative research cycles, gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing large amounts of user insights to translate them into design requirements and iterations.
- Work with design systems, ensuring a good understanding of componentization, responsive design best practices, accessibility, typography, color patterns, and iconography.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that clearly convey design concepts and interactions.
- Ensure a consistent and cohesive design language across all products.
- Present design solutions to stakeholders and incorporate feedback to refine designs.
- Stay current with industry trends and competitor products to ensure our products remain cutting-edge and user-centric.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing both web app and mobile app design.
- Demonstrated ability to follow a clear, structured design process, from research and ideation to final execution.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools like InVision or Axure.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing designs.
- Bonus points for experience working in the Web3 or Entertainment industry.
- Ability to work on-site in the San Francisco Bay Area.
