Responsibilities:
- Responsible for revenue generation in large targeted pharmaceutical manufacturers
- Develops annual sales account plans in support of organization strategy and objectives
- Ensures communications are coordinated, supports sales plan objectives and meets organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with SVP’s of Market Access and Patient Affordability
- Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses
- Responsible for account development and strategy of all assigned accounts
- Manages multiple channel selling strategies
- Builds, develops and partners with sales team to identify and present all services of Mercalis
- Refine and develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving Mercalis’s sales goals
- Develop, communicate, and drive the implementation of plans and strategies for increasing market revenue, while achieving gross margin and expense management goals
- Responsible for new business goals determined on a yearly basis
- Collaborate with peer leadership to identify and develop strategic solutions that will have immediate impact and recognize trends to capture future growth
- Develop a strategy inclusive of tactics that captures business development opportunities
- Develop new business opportunities by staying current of industry, competition and market conditions
- Leverage current client relationships to develop new business opportunities
- Establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship with current clients, resulting in high levels of client satisfaction, account retention and future business growth plans
- Work closely with various functional groups within Mercalis to leverage key resources and collaborate in order to grow the business and build synergistic opportunities
- Ensure that Mercalis’s opportunities, revenue, profit and client loyalty are maximized across all strategic accounts
- Meet regularly with key customers and partners and develop and maintain key relationships
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years experience working in life sciences
- Five+ years of contract sales expereince
- Experience managing Salesforce
