Job description: MaxHealth is looking to hire a full-time Clinical Informatics Specialist. The Clinical Informatics Specialist is a key contributor to our clinical success by providing much needed data analytics, support and insights to our clinical operators, quality and MRA teams as well as medical directors and providers. This role will be focused on providing additional actionable analytics and training to our clinical leads and medical directors as well as continuing to provide insights into claims and utilizations events.All applicants must reside within a commutable distance of either Sarasota or Tampa-area.This healthcare position earns a competitive wage, depending on experience. - Create clinical analytical reports to support decision making of medical directors, clinic operators, and other key stakeholders.
- Support medical directors, clinic operators, key stakeholders, and members of the executive team with ad-hoc analyses to aid in medical expense and membership analyses.
- Hold meetings with medical directors, clinic operators, key stakeholders, and members of the executive team to highlight medical expenses and other relevant key performance indicators.
- Perform decision support and quality assurance analyses to help ensure key data sources are accurate.
- Perform analyses and relevant submissions to third party health plans, reinsurers or other key partners related to accurate claims payment, member assignment and expense allocation.
- Other medical informatic analyses or reporting as defined by the Chief Information Officer to aid in making key decisions or highlighting areas of improvement.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or related work experience in Business, Finance, MIS, engineering, computer science or related field.
- Experience with Data Analytics and Reporting Tools (SQL, SSRS, Domo, Tableau).
- Experience with MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, modeling).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to grasp complex subjects and work independently to devise creative solutions.
