You will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting processes and equipment in a facility producing and shipping various industrial gases. Responsibilities include working within procedure-based systems to ensure ES&H compliance, quality assurance, reliability, and cost control.Scope of Responsibilities Include:Key member of the commissioning and startup teamComply with safety and environmental requirementsPlant operation skills, and process knowledge during the startup and commissioning of the facilityStarting and stopping of equipmentProcess optimizationTanker loading and unloadingRoutine maintenance and troubleshootingParticipation in the site safety program and continuous improvement projectsDemonstrate a willingness to learnThis role is a safety sensitive position.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Qualifications2 year technical or business degree is preferred4 years of military training in a technical fieldMinimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing/production, processing or chemical/ petrochemical environmentCryogenic plant experience is a plusStrong commitment to safety, working as a team and operational excellencePhysical RequirementsMust be able to climb ladders and steps and lift a minimum of 50 lbsWork HoursFirst shift – 7:00am – 3:00pm – Monday through Friday with flexibility to work overtime when neededMust be willing to be on call rotation to support plant operationsEducation and Licensing Requirements
