Applications accepted for another 13 Days 21 Hrs 38 MinsThe PositionAdministrative Services Officers function as business managers for a large division or major program area or facility, with responsibility for accounting, budgeting and business management of various services and operations.The Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD) is currently recruiting for a full-time Administrative Services Officer 2 in Carson City, Nevada. This recruitment may be used to fill current and future vacancies as they occur in the following program: Fiscal.The incumbent will be responsible for managing the grants and billing department; ensuring billing is completed within the State and Federal guidelines. The incumbent will also be responsible for updating the monthly grant reports, reconciling with the budget status report, preparing the federal grant reports, preparing the SF 425 in the Payment Management System, manage the federal draw, and preparing any other federal reports that are required for the grants department. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, accounting, finance or related field and four years of professional experience including two years of responsibility for major business operations/functions such as grants administration, contract and lease administration, purchasing and warehouse operations, human resources, Information Technology or facilities maintenance and construction; and two years of experience formulating, developing and analyzing program or agency budgets; and fiscal management; one year of which was equivalent to an Administrative Services Officer I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.
