From discovery to delivery, come help us shape the future of medicine.DescriptionLocation: Northwestern Medicine DeKalb, Ben Gordon Center (Mental Health Center)Hours: Full time, 40 hours/weekSchedule: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.The Administrative Assistant reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.This role will serve individuals in leadership roles, specifically managers and above, at the Ben Gordon Center.Responsibilities include the coordination of workload, scheduling meetings, managing calendars, problem solving, organizing and completing projects and performing general clerical duties.QualificationsRequired:
- Minimum 3 years of secretarial or related experience.
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point) and the ability to learn new applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills, strong telephone skills.
Preferred:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
- Secretarial training.
