- Participating in and provides quality improvement support and consultation for hospital and unit/department-based committees, councils, programs and special projects.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts and advises on performance improvement tools, methods and criteria for monitoring care delivery processes and outcomes.
- Developing measurement plans and assists in data collection and analysis.
- Provides support and education for the development of process and outcome performance measures centered on patient safety and quality.
- Managing select hospital-wide performance improvement projects and initiatives.
- Facilitating the development of policy, procedures, standards and guidelines that support organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Creating communications and education related to policy and practice changes.
- Developing systems to monitor compliance for regulatory requirements and develops action plans for improvement when required.
- Developing and facilitating or oversees the development and facilitation of workshops, seminars and orientations as directed.
- Maintaining knowledge of current profession and quality improvement trends through participation in relevant professional organizations and attendance at conferences.
To qualify, you must have:
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- A minimum of 4 year of pediatric nursing experience required
- Boston Children’s Hospital experience strongly preferred
- CPHQ Certification (or similar) preferred
- Ability to work 40 hours a week, 8 hour shifts Monday through Friday
