Job description: Job Title: Talent Development ManagerJob Overview: We are looking for a proactive and experienced Talent Development Manager to lead our talent development initiatives. This role involves creating and implementing programs designed to enhance employees’ skills, career growth, and overall performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in talent management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for developing and nurturing talent within the organization.Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage talent development programs and initiatives that align with organizational goals and enhance employee skills and performance.
- Assess current training needs and identify skill gaps through performance evaluations, surveys, and feedback from employees and managers.
- Develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and seminars on various topics, including leadership development, technical skills, and professional growth.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and HR teams to create career development plans and succession planning strategies.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of talent development programs through assessments, surveys, and performance metrics, making adjustments as needed.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to employees and managers to support their professional development and career advancement.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in talent development to incorporate innovative approaches into programs.
- Manage relationships with external training providers and consultants as needed.
- Prepare and present reports on talent development activities, progress, and outcomes to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s or advanced certification in talent management preferred).
- Proven experience in talent development, learning and development, or a similar role, with a strong track record of designing and implementing successful programs.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate employees at all levels.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training methodologies.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring employees, with a focus on career development and performance improvement.
- Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other training tools.
