Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Project Engineer III – Substation /Relaying /Generation:#1. B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering required.#2. Five to ten years of applicable experience required.#3. Licensed Professional Engineer.Requirements for the Project Engineer III – Substation /Relaying /Generation:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
- Ability to mentor and oversee the work of junior engineers, designers, and CAD operators on the assigned team.
- Act as the primary contact for clients to manage ongoing projects, ensure customer satisfaction, and handle future business and upcoming project plans.
- Expertise in various aspects of substation engineering, including physical layout design, protection and control design, relay settings programming, field support, substation commissioning, and relay testing.
- Responsible for and/or oversee project design activities, including performing engineering calculations, utilizing design software, and referring to relevant engineering procedures and manuals.
- Prepare and review complex project documents, such as specifications and bid documents.
- Conduct and direct detailed drawing reviews, ensuring plans are accurate, clear, and effectively represent the design intent.
- Supervise and assist in the training of Project Engineers I and II.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to interact effectively with employees at all organizational levels.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
