The incumbent in this position serves as the Distributed Computer Systems Specialist reporting to the Distributed Computer Systems Analyst II.Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+Years’ MFMP experience with a State of Florida agency.
- 2+Years’ asset management experience with a State of Florida agency.
- 3+ Years’ current Help Desk support experience using Cloud technologies.
- 3+ Years’ current computer commissioning/decommissioning experience.
- Possess and maintain a current driver’s license and travel within the State of Florida.
- Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs. of equipment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Microsoft Intune experience.
- Microsoft Entra experience.
Starting salary will fall within the range of $45,781.21 – $47,612.50 and will depend upon the top candidate’s level of experience and education.

Provisions new machines using Microsoft Intune. Performs patch management using the current SaaS to ensure all client-side computer equipment including desktops, laptops, kiosk, timeclocks, workstation on wheels, med carts, and treatment carts adhere to established policies. Decommissions unsupported operating systems on client-side computer equipment. Audits network user network accounts and corrects access levels in accordance with established policies. Provides end user support using Dynamics 365 Self-Service Portal. Creates purchase requests/receipts using MyFlorida MarketPlace. Ensures quotes are within the allowed limits per state law. Assigns asset tags to procured equipment and manages the annual inventory procedures per state law.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Possess the ability to control computer system functions, identifying underlying principles, reasons, or facts by breaking down information or data into separate parts. Critical thinking skills are necessary to observe, receive, and otherwise obtain information from all relevant sources. Procurement and asset management procedures, utilization of equipment, and knowledge of office procedures a plus. Ability to install, troubleshoot and maintain office automation equipment. Ability to interpret and respond to computer errors using technical problem-solving techniques. Ability to communicate technical information effectively. Ability to multitask while monitoring computing systems components. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.Other Job Related Requirements:
