Full time, direct job with benefits#electricalengineering #aerospacesmanufacturing #qualityassurancePosition Overview: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong quality background to provide onsite support at our customer in Vandalia. The ideal candidate will have expertise in MRB, RCCA, and troubleshooting, along with experience in both analog and digital electronic circuits. This role involves supporting product assembly and testing, leading root cause analysis, and resolving quality issues.Key Responsibilities:
- Support product assembly and test issues.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause corrective analysis (RCCA).
- Interpret Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) and resolve issues related to failures.
- Write detailed test reports.
- Author MRB and Engineering Change documentation and support associated processes.
- Resolve quality issues from a technical & engineering perspective.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering field desired.
- 5+ years of working experience with analog & digital electronic circuits, power supply operation, and power electronics.
- Experience with DO-160 (vibration, acceleration, temperature, temperature variation, etc.).
- Knowledge of systems verification, preferably in aviation, medical, or safety-critical applications.
- Hands-on experience with Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) design, layout, and typical failures.
- Customer service minded with strong attention to detail and efficiency.
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, both in a team setting and individually.
- Computer savvy and Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- U.S. Citizenship required due to the nature of the work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Quality & Manufacturing Engineering work history
- Experience working with or at GE Aerospace.
- Familiar with EMI, electrical measurement, and reliability testing equipment and processes.
