As the Global Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire procurement process, from request for quotation (RFQ) to delivery. You will manage relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), lead the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and spearhead the establishment and management of a global technology sourcing team. This role also involves initiating international manufacturing agreements, managing the New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle, and conducting quarterly reviews to assess supplier performance.

- Oversee the entire purchasing cycle, including accurate data entry, maintenance in systems, reporting, and communication.
- Identify and manage relationships with new and existing OEMs.
- Lead ERP implementation, conduct strategic business reviews, and engage in growth discussions with preferred suppliers.
- Establish and lead a global technology sourcing team and manage vendor operations.
- Initiate and manage international manufacturing and procurement agreements.
- Oversee the NPI event lifecycle, including requirements gathering, supplier strategy, contract negotiations, and program implementation.
- Conduct quarterly reviews with manufacturers to assess KPIs, customer service, and supply opportunities.
- Design and implement global KPIs and Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) to improve procurement processes and reduce inventory.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards for systems support and monitoring.
- Leverage global commodities markets to optimize procurement strategies.
- Manage product life cycle, including new item creation, supplier contact for pricing, MSRP & MAP, and PO issuance.
- Use Replenishment Reporting daily for restocking warehouses, generating approximately 75-125 weekly POs.
- Update Reorder Points daily based on sales history and maintain an internal procurement service desk.
- Negotiate shipping terms and pricing with suppliers to optimize stock levels and costs.
- Source and qualify suppliers, monitor inventory levels, and inform stakeholders of potential impacts.
- Contribute to monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings with inventory reports and findings.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of inventory forecasting systems and reporting.
- Ensure accuracy of product status (current vs. discontinued) in ERP and reporting systems.
- Maintain a regular business rhythm with meeting cadences for internal and external teams.
- Collaborate with the Product Development Team on new and replacement products for healthy stock levels and future forecasting.
- Work with teams to resolve delays and out-of-stock issues and report potential backorders.
- Assist with resolving mis-shipments, damaged goods, return terms, and missing products with the receiving and returns department.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies with the Accounts Payable team.
- Demonstrate flexibility, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Assist with additional duties as required by management and the Purchasing team.
What You Bring with You?
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, including managing supplier and partner relationships.
- Strong negotiation, communication, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, with excellent time management capabilities.
- Proficient in problem-solving, critical thinking, and data analysis.
- Experience with Everest and Dynamics ERP systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, Teams, and Outlook.
- Self-starter with a strategic approach to challenges and problem-solving.
