Position DescriptionAs a Business Analyst at Applied Medical, you will be pivotal in enhancing our internal processes and systems. You will be at the forefront of our custom applications and digital asset projects, working closely with internal customers to understand their needs and translate them into actionable technical specifications. Your expertise will guide the development and implementation of innovative solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness across our organization.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead discovery sessions with business units to gather and document requirements.
- Develop detailed specifications and functional requirements for developers and UX/UI design teams.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, QA teams, IT systems, and other stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to support decision-making.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and implementation plans to ensure successful project delivery.
- Perform data analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide feedback for improvements.
- Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and configurations for implemented systems.
- Mentor junior business analysts and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Other Duties & Responsibilities:
- Mentor junior business analysts and guide best practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance business analysis processes.
- Support the development and maintenance of digital asset management systems.
- Assist in XSLT development or configurations as needed.
Position Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in creating detailed requirements and functional specifications.
- Experience with SAP and Jama software.
- Knowledge of XSLT development or configurations.
- Familiarity with digital asset management systems.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of UX/UI design principles.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- More than four years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery and stakeholder management.
- Experience writing detailed requirements for developers and UX/UI design teams.
- Work closely with internal departments, including technical teams, project managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful project outcomes.
