Position Type: [Contract] W2/C2CJob Summary:As a Power BI Business Analyst specializing in Pharma Commercial, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive strategic insights and decision-making within our commercial operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and Finance to design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to the needs of various stakeholders in commercial functions such as Sales, Marketing, and Market Access.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, analyze data, and translate business needs into technical specifications for Power BI solutions.
- Implement best practices in data visualization and dashboard design to ensure clarity, usability, and accessibility of information.
- Perform data analysis and interpretation to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic decision-making and business growth.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of Power BI solutions to ensure accuracy, reliability, and adherence to business requirements.
- Provide training and support to end-users on the use of Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in Power BI capabilities to recommend and implement improvements in data visualization and analytics processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst, specifically within the pharmaceutical industry focusing on commercial operations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI including data modeling, DAX calculations, and building interactive visualizations and dashboards.
- Solid understanding of pharmaceutical commercial processes and data sources (e.g., sales data, market access data, promotional data).
- Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
