Our companies have always demonstrated the highest level of professionalism and attention to service, and because of this, we have built long-term trust, loyalty, and support with employees, residents, city officials, regulatory bodies, and communities where our operations are based.Position Summary:Quality Roots is quickly growing in the Michigan cannabis industry and seeks to hire an experienced Senior Graphic Designer to help promote our unique brands, products, store locations and our cannabis lifestyle through various forms of marketing initiatives using your graphic design skills.The Senior Graphic Designer will undertake the responsibility of assisting the Marketing department with various digital and print marketing materials. With oversight from the Chief Marketing Officer and other corporate level colleagues, the Senior Graphic Designer will support retail sales campaign management that includes by not limited to graphic design and print layouts. Visuals created will be used to market various cannabis products and accessories while promoting several unique brands, products, our store locations, and the cannabis lifestyle that represents the communities in which we serve.At a high level, the Senior Graphic Designer will be responsible for executing design assets across Quality Roots.Qualifications:The Graphic Designer must be organized and professional with the ability to work in tandem with the Marketing, Design, and other teams to establish and complete department goals. The ideal candidate will be able to incorporate department needs and themselves into the on-brand visuals used to promote all things Quality Roots.Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Creative and Marketing teams to produce engaging, on-brand print and digital assets for multiple department projects.
- Create visuals that convey accurate messaging for campaigns and other promotional materials
- Design eye-catching visuals for various marketing materials, including social media graphics, advertisements, packaging, and more.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure marketing message alignment
- Performs other marketing functions and duties as requested by the marketing and c-suite teams
- Comfortable assigning tasks and completing deadlines
Skills:
- Must have an understanding of Google Workspace suite
- Strong attention to detail
- WordPress and web design experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of the Adobe suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, AfterEffects, etc.) and Figma
- 3D modeling, CAD, AutoCAD, Blender, experience optional
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Project management software experience, Monday.com experience preferred
- Understanding of cannabis industry trends and general cannabis education
Requirements:
- Cannabis Design experience minimum of 2 years preferred
- Bachelor in Art or other related work experience preferred
- Full-time availability (40-45 hours per week) Monday through Friday, some weekends as needed
- Must be 21+ years old
- Valid Driver License with reliable transportation and the ability to travel within the State of Michigan (as needed, mileage reimbursement provided)
- Can lift up to 20lbs, bends, stand, sit, and stoop for extended periods of time.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative and innovative design solutions
- In-office position
