Job description: UDR is seeking qualified candidates a Plumbing Designer opportunity to support an Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) project.Work Location: Greenville, SCPlumbing Designer-Responsibilities:
- Perform walk-down field systems with minimal guidance, interpret field direction, generate advanced design details, create new drawings, and modify existing drawings.
- Read, interpret, and generate design drawings with minimal input from a member of the engineering staff.
- Review vendor equipment documentation for compliance with project requirements and actively seek discrepancy resolution.
- Work as a team.
- Review and direct work by other designers using S3D modeling software.
Education:
- Accredited two (2) year degree in applicable field of study (preferred but not required)
Experience/Skills:
- A minimum of ten (10) years of drafting/designer experience in the engineering and construction fields.
- Ability to generate isometric drawings using S3D.
- Highly skilled in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) applications to originate and produce drawings and 3D models of moderate to advanced complexity.
- Generate advanced design details, create new drawings, and modify existing drawings.
- Direct, check and approve work done by other Designers.
- Proficient in S3D software.

- Work fifty (50) hours per week as needed.
