Job description: Selectek is looking for a Commissioning Automation Specialist familiar with network communications and control systems protocols who can help stand up pilot systems for performing data collection and analytics.Required:
- 5+ years of experience in automation commissioning
- Need someone who is intimately familiar with GE PAC PLCs, and Omni and ABB Spirit (Flow X) flow computers
- Being familiar with software installation, upgrades, and licensing policies
- The ability to read and interpret P&IDs
Job Responsibilities:
- Someone who can provide remote and onsite support for control systems site installation, commissioning, and checkouts for Power and Pipeline asset area in Texas that runs from Lake Jackson to the Beaumont/Port Arthur area.
- This is a very dynamic area and there are usually always two to three active projects that are always in flight.
- Some of the data may be sourced directly from the field equipment, while some may be sourced from data historians such as PI.

Pay Range: $40/hour – $70/hour ($83,000 – $146,000 salary range)
Term of assignment: 12 month+ temp
Location of Job: Houston, TX (center city area)
WFH/Remote: No
Hours & Shift: 8AM – 5PM Monday – Friday
Overtime: Some on occasion
Travel: None
Work Attire: Business casual
