Job description: The Designer is in charge of carrying out routine to moderately complex architectural assignments throughout all phases of a project, including but not limited to: contributing to design discussions and bringing design concepts through to project drawings, preparing construction documents, coordinating with consultants, developing details, code and materials research, field surveys, and other assigned tasks.Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:Researches and evaluates the influence of building codes and regulations. Conducts more vital architectural research as needed.Provides architectural drawing, including details, plans, sections, and elevations, according to firm standards and norms.Coordinates structural, mechanical, and electrical designs alongside architectural plans.Provides blueprints, copies, reports, bid registrations, and mailings as needed.Participates in sustainable design discussions and integrates sustainable solutions into project work and business operations.Communicates deadlines and key project information to team members.Analyzes and makes timely, cost-effective decisions.Position RequirementsIdeal candidates will possess a degree in architecture or technical degree with up to 5 years’ experience; Advanced Revit proficiency is required.Equal Opportunity EmployerOur client is delighted to be an equal opportunity employer dedicated to employing a diverse and inclusive team.
