PTO is provided, and employees have the opportunity to participate in our 401k with a profit-sharing plan.All job candidates will be required to verify eligibility to work in the United States.Job Summary:The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support to assigned Partners and Senior Managers and their respective department.During tax season, the admin’s duties will consist primarily of assembling tax returns, scanning client documents to our digital filing system, logging tax return status, maintaining the paper file system, organizing staff lunches, ordering supplies and occasional ad hoc projects as needed. In off-peak months the duties would consist of those mentioned previously with more focus on developing employee skills in accounting and client services.Essential Functions:
- Handles private privileged and sensitive information with absolute confidentiality.
- Serves as a point of contact for clients both in the office and on the telephone, including: screening phone calls, ensuring client messages are communicated to the appropriate client service staff, and following up with clients, when appropriate.
- Composes and/or proofreads correspondence and takes responsibility for accuracy of final product.
- Provides meeting, conference, and special event coordination, including: reserving conference rooms, teleconference or video conference setup, email announcement to meeting participants, procurement of audio/visual aids, and food and beverage service.
- Assembles Tax Return, Payroll, Financial Statements, and other presentation materials.
- Maintains work-in-process status in our workflow management software.
- Scanning of daily documents.
- Ordering, receiving, stocking, and distribution of office supplies.
- Ensures the timely delivery of completed tax returns by mail or special delivery
- Pick-up and delivery of supplies, and/or food & beverage service.
- Set-up and maintain client information in firm database
- Special projects as assigned by the Partners, Managers, or Firm Administrator.
- Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.

Position Qualifications:
- EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- EXPERIENCE: 3 to 5 years of prior office experience. 2 years working for a CPA firm preferred.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Primarily Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel)
