About the JobWe are seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator with at least seven years of experience in electrical estimating for industrial projects. The candidate will lead complex, multi-discipline estimates for field and pre-fabrication construction projects, consulting with various stakeholders to formulate and resolve estimates. Key responsibilities include managing the centralized cost estimating database, developing formal estimating processes, comparing estimated and actual costs to improve accuracy, and leading the estimating strategy for continuous improvement. The role also involves managing subcontractor solicitations, ensuring compliance with estimating methodologies, and providing leadership to less experienced staff. Required skills include proficiency in MS Excel, knowledge of estimating software (Quotesoft, Accubid, Oracle, PowerBI), and strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required, though applicable experience may be substituted.
