- Coordinate design criteria through communication with various internal departments, vendors, and consultants.
- Prepare drawing revisions for project updates and changes.
- Review vendor shop drawings for compliance.
- Distribute drawings to contractors, vendors, suppliers, building officials, and company team members.
- Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level.
- Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent certificate required
- Associate degree in drafting preferred
- Proficient in AutoCAD Architecture and Revit
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Minimum eight (8) years of experience as an Architectural Designer or Project Coordinator. This position requires a thorough understanding of building construction methods and techniques as well as advanced knowledge of the applicable codes.
- Commercial construction experience and knowledge preferred
- Coordination skills with the responsibility for communicating with other disciplines and the client.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects successfully
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including telephone skills
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills
- Travel required less than 5%
- General office work requiring sitting or standing for long periods of time
