As our Instructional Designer/Trainer or Senior, you will:Work with stakeholders to assess current and future training and performance support needs, including but not limited to: reliability/operations, SPP energy markets, on-boarding, transmission planning, and settlements. The Instructional Designer/Trainer facilitates design and development discussions with subject matter experts in multiple departments within SPP. The Instructional Designer/Trainer collaborates with stakeholders to ensure training and performance support development aligns with their expectations and provides learning opportunities to address knowledge and/or skills gaps.Additionally, the Instructional Designer/Trainer will be responsible for identifying and maintaining project forecasting and time-requirements concerning training deliverables. He/she proactively mitigates any risks associated with the training and performance support initiatives. This position requires extensive contact and collaboration with employees at all levels of the organization, as well as with members, stakeholders, contractors and third party vendors of the company. A wide range of skills is required including project management, a systematic approach to development, writing/editing, facilitation, oral communication and presentation/facilitation skills.To be successful as the Instructional Designer/Trainer or Senior, we’re looking for:
