Job title: Electrical Project Manager / Estimator

Job description: A valued client of ours is looking for an Electrical Project Manager/Estimator for commercial and light industrial projects. We are a local company seeking a candidate interested in growing with the company, implementing new procedures, and willing to learn. Attention to detail and multi-tasking skills are critical.Responsibilities
- Determine the scope of work by reviewing bid documents and attending pre-bid meetings
- Perform accurate takeoffs and quantify estimates.
- Obtain quotes as needed from subcontractors and vendors.
- Determine which vendors and subcontractors to use on the projects.
- Develop a project schedule for each project.
- Attend project meetings throughout the job.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Safety and quality conscious.
- Communicate with team members and trade partners.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with a proven track record.
- Prior electrical field experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Accubid, Bluebeam, Conest, or McCormick estimating software
- High level of organization and planning abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude and is self-motivated.
- Knowledge of construction practices and methods.
