Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing patient nutritional needs, developing and implementing nutrition programs, and evaluating and reporting the results.
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care tailored to the nutritional needs of patients.
- Conducting nutrition education sessions for patients, families, and staff.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and adjusting dietary plans as needed.
- Staying abreast of the latest research in nutritional science to provide evidence-based care.
Education & Certification Requirements:The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelors degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification.
- Licensed as a Dietitian in the state of Oregon.
- Previous clinical dietetics experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and counseling skills.
- A compassionate and patient-focused approach.
