Job description: We are seeking an experienced litigator for a permanent position at an esteemed full-service law firm recognized in several practice areas. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional comunication skills and experience litigating a variety of business, employment, and/or complex commercial disputes. Attorneys can expect to manage their own caseload independently and collaborate with fellow attorneys on larger, high-stakes cases. The successful candidate will can expect to manage their cases from intake to resolution including drafting pleadings and motions, discovery, legal research, taking and defending depositions, and court appearances.Qualifications & Skills:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
- 4-7+ years of experience in business, employment, liability, commercial and/or class action litigation
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage all aspects of litigation (discovery, depositions, motions, case management, trial prep)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Detail oriented and strong work ethic
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
- Strong communication and advocacy skills
- Trial experience is preferred, but is not a requirement
